MeoShín'Ké
Overview
MeoShín’Ké is a captivating Asian fantasy animated series centered around the adventures of Jimin, a 10-year-old girl from the West; Hoon, a boy from the East (Asia); and a mysterious cat god, Meoshin. The story unfolds when Jimin, visiting her mother’s homeland (Korea) after her grandmother’s passing, encounters a seemingly ordinary cat that transforms into Meoshin, a powerful god, under the glow of a mystical bracelet.
As the 13th celestial animal excluded from the 12 zodiacs, Meoshin serves as the guardian of MeoShín’Ké, a realm filled with mythical creatures causing supernatural phenomena. Jimin navigates life in a foreign culture, facing supernatural challenges alongside Hoon, a fervent fan of mythical beings. Each 11-minute episode tells a standalone story that weaves into a larger narrative of uncovering the mysteries affecting their world.
The first two seasons of The Legends of MeoShín’Ké aired in South Korea on Daekyo Kids TV.
